A Look Back at the Salt Flats House Warming, a grand opening festival
Salt Flats marks opening by welcoming more than 3,000 people to corporate strategy space where entrepreneurs and corporations will solve challenges in today’s digitally disruptive world
Salt Flats introduced the first of-its-kind Innovation House in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago June 11 – 16, 2018 with a 6-day grand opening festival. Throughout the week, Salt Flats hosted a mix of private and public events to welcome guests to their new space including Milliken’s NEOCON reception, a collective intelligence workshop with a new Member, a happy hour with Leopardo Companies, a design thinking workshop, a keynote by best-selling author Rod Collins, a panel with the Illinois Institute of Technology, VIP reception with Cheurlin Champagne, Evoke event space grand opening by Brix Catering, and a panel with Alderman Burnett of Chicago’s 27th Ward, Matt Abeles of BuiltWorlds and Adam Semel of Skidmore, Ownings, and Merrill to discuss the Future of the Built Environment. Over the course of the 6-days, more than 3,000 people met Salt Flats for the first time and hundreds of ideas were generated, culminating with a christening of the building — see the video here!
