There really isn’t an industry average for the amount of time it takes for a user to find and download an asset in a DAM. Any concrete number given would be arbitrary due to the number of factors that come into play when trying to measure something like this. However, if search and download times seem slow, there are several specific places to check for performance issues.

  • Search complexity – Complex search queries, often involving multiple terms or specific criteria, can lead to slower search results. Users who are unfamiliar with crafting effective search queries may encounter difficulties in finding the assets they need.
