Rick McNabb
Chairman & CEO
Rick is a business entrepreneur and visionary with a portfolio of companies focused on solving the world’s most complex problems in the Digital Age. He also is a key stakeholder in Salt Flats Capital, a private equity company focused on investing in future business models and products. Rick has devoted his 40-plus-year career transforming Fortune 500 businesses and delivering strategic value to shareholders, customers and stakeholders.
John Horodyski
Executive Director
John Horodyski has executive management strategy experience in Information Management, including Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Strategy, Metadata and Taxonomy design, MarTech, Content Management, Governance and Rights Management. John is a world-leading expert and has provided strategic direction and consulting for a variety of Fortune 100 and 500 clients from Consumer Packaging Goods, to Media & Entertainment, the Pharmaceutical industry and Insurance. John is also an Adjunct Faculty at San Jose State University, where he teaches a graduate course in Digital Asset Management.
In addition to regular training and public speaking on digital media and metadata, John is a Board Member / Metadata Editor of the Journal of Digital Media Management and is a monthly DAM contributor to CMS Wire. John published his book, “Inform, Transform, Out-perform: Digital Content Strategies to Optimize Your Business for Growth.”
Adithya Menon
Senior Engineer
Adithya Menon leads the Salt Flats in-house prototyping team known as Department X, a team of diverse mechanical, electrical and software engineers and designers. Department X is a one-stop shop for end-to-end prototyping and product development. His entrepreneurial spirit and uncompromising integrity for high-quality engineering has led the team to numerous victories and rapid growth. With the emergence of IoT and maker spaces throughout the Chicago area, Adithya co-founded ST Labs with the goal of offering prototyping-as-a-service to help entrepreneurs, start-ups and corporations turn ideas into physical prototypes. Adithya earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), where he also served as the Global Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Office of Technology Development.
